  • Start at 4 AM after breakfast and drive to Janki Chatti. From there, a 5 km trek leads to Yamunotri.
  • Pilgrims can hire a palanquin (doli), porter (pitthu), or horse at their own cost.
  • On reaching Yamunotri, bathe in the Jamnabai Kund and visit the temple.
  • Return to Janki Chatti by trek/palanquin/horse and drive back to Barkot for an overnight stay.

  • Barkot – Uttarkashi (95 km, approx. 4 hrs)
